According to this article on cyclingnews.com, "Floyd Landis has accepted an invitation from the National Ultra-Endurance (NUE) MTB Series to compete in their eight-race series in 2008."
According to the cyclingnews.com 2008 mtb race schedule, the NUE series makes a stop at Mohican on May 31, 2008 for the Mohican 100. Using my powers of deduction, I would assume that means Mr. Landis will be racing in our backyard that day.
I'd be curious to hear what people think about the series allowing Floyd to race.

I'm leaning toward letting him ride. Like Tyler Hamilton, when the drugs stop, he will be a good rider of a national caliber, but not international. So, I think our guys, like Shawn and Ernie, can give him a good fight. I don't condone his actions. In fact, who knows if he really doped. But assuming he did, at least he can do something to help the sport of MTB by getting what seems to be good press around his racing in the NUE. Last year there were so many stories about Landis and I can say they were almost entirely positive.

Dopers do suck, and Floyd and others like him have forever lost the respect of the cycling community.
I'm with Julie; while it doesn't look good for Floyd, I like to think that he didn't really dope...
I've got 5/31 marked on my calendar for the race, and I'm sure that the race will be a bigger draw with him there (which is good).
