I don't love running, but I don't hate it either. I do it over the winter months once a week. I don't look forward to it, but I feel good when finished. Yesterday was a particularly good run, especially since I almost didn't even have the motivation to make it out the door into the cold night.
I recently talked to a good friend of mine, and he wants to be my running partner for the rest of the winter. He's a good guy, but he's kind of smelly and has really big ears. Kind of like me.

I jogged about a minute and 45 seconds while walking my dog this morning. Somehow I dont think that really qualifies as jogging, more like tripping while walking?!?!?!
I want to do a simple test soon. Run a measured mile as fast as I can and see how many minutes it takes. Baseline for that JCB biathlon this summer.
Nice dog, is that a coonhound?
Thanks Bill. Yep, he's an American Black and Tan Coonhound. His name is Reuben.
Katie and I agreed to temporarily foster him for the breed rescue group about 18 months ago. The "temporary" part became not so temporary once we got him and he won us over.
An excellent choice for a running partner. I've seen that hound operate and not only is he fleet of foot, more importantly he's a hit with the ladies. Actually would it be O.K. if I borrowed him while I go clubbin'?
Actually, Reuben does indeed enjoy clubbin'. Give him a call and he'd be happy to join you. Just don't be surprised if he steals all of your ladies.
