When I was a young kid, I vacationed with my parents in Frankenmuth, Michigan. I vividly remember the faux-Bavarian buildings, the tourist traps, the world's largest Christmas store at which we shopped, and the sports cards store where I bought a good condition Donruss Kirby Puckett rookie card for $11. I also remember telling my dad that the baseball card purchase was a really good investment.
As I grew older, I figured that I would never have any reason to re-visit this town. That is, until I was convinced to race there next week.
So now I will return, about 20 years older, wiser, and the proud owner of a Kirby Puckett rookie card that is currently selling for $1.29 on e-bay.
At least this time I won't have to go to that stupid Christmas store.

I don't think I've ever been there, but I've driven by it a lot. I really liked Frankenmuth beer from the brewery, though. It was destroyed in 1996 by a tornado, but apparently it reopened a few years ago (http://www.frankenmuthbrewery.com/history.htm).
haha. great place and fun memories there also. I had a great baseball tourny there and played putt-putt next to the Christmas store. Cool town, I should do that race sometime?!?! Have a good race.
