An hour in hell

Many people give me weird looks when I try to describe cyclocross to them. From now on, I'll just send them this video.

Since we can't watch youtube at work, I have to direct people to wikipedia. I need to find another job...

after the road season, I'm basically read for a break. but damn, this makes me want to do some cross racing!

I did a couple ... probably 10 yrs ago, and was so sore I said I wouldn't do it again. Of course I was lugging a 38lb MTB around.

Any idea where I could find a cheap used 'cross bike? :-)

After the road season, I'm also ready for a break...from road season. 'Cross is a welcomed change of pace for me in the fall. Plus it's fun to play in mud.

Brian, what frame size are you (although CX frame sizing is a touch different than road). If you're unable to get hooked up with a used bike here in Cleveland, eBay would probably be a good place to go. Let me know before you go that route, because I have a number of CX worthy frames of various sizes.

Where are the rabbits? And the bacon kiosk?

I normally ride a 53-54cm road frame (center-top). Do you size 'cross frames a bit smaller?
